The Challenge
DailyOM was launching their first-ever 3-day global virtual summit, a deep-dive event designed to help audiences release old wounds and create new neural pathways. The challenge was creating a visual identity that felt authoritative yet deeply empathetic. The branding needed to capture the heavy emotional journey of the workshops while remaining uplifting, sophisticated, and accessible for a digital Zoom environment.
The Concept
An interconnected visual system mapping the journey of wholeness. I developed a geometric, orbital brand mark and a strategic color/type system that visually represents the summit’s three core pillars: Shed the Past, Heal the Present, and Rewrite the Future.
01. The Brand Mark
The central logo is built around a geometric globe motif, symbolizing holistic connection and inner orbits. The design intentionally features three distinct nodes, with each point representing a specific day of the summit’s transformational journey.
02. Strategic Color
Because “color is feeling”, the palette needed to evoke growth without feeling overly bright or toxic-positive. I paired a calming, grounded slate blue (#52757E) with a warm, active terracotta (#AA6255) to create a sophisticated, eye-catching balance.
03. Typography System
To convey both trust and personality, I utilized Quincy CF—a contemporary serif with fluid lines—for bold, memorable headlines. For UI and body copy, I paired it with Inter, maximizing legibility across digital screens during the virtual event.
04. Information Architecture
To convert visitors into attendees, I designed a long-form landing page that guides the user from emotional resonance (the “why”) down to the practical schedule and speaker credentials (the “how”), making a 3-day commitment feel accessible.
05. Structuring the Journey
With nine experts across three days, clarity was essential. I created distinct UI modules for the agenda and speaker bios, utilizing the color system to visually separate Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 so users could effortlessly scan the schedule.
06. Driving Conversion
I strategically placed clear “Unlock Full Access” conversion blocks and paired them with trust-building elements. Scannable benefit grids, “Real Results” testimonial cards, and a clean FAQ section work together to remove friction and drive sign-ups.
